Precious vs Non-Precious Jewellery
All of our jewellery is made using the finest high-quality metals ranging from solid Sterling Silver, and 9ct-18ct gold. Each item is then individually hallmarked validating it as a luxurious precious metal.
Many other jewellery brands however use Stainless Steel (a non-precius metal) which is later plated in the finest layer of silver or gold to give the appearance you're actually looking for in a precious metal. Contradictory to most advertisment, this thin layer does indeed fade over time with wear and tear!
Stainless steel is inexpensive, often contains nickel (a known allergen), and can rust! If you see Stainless Steel anywhere on the description of an item of jewellery - run!

Consider this - your kitchen cutlery is most probably made of stainless steel, you can purchase a full set of cutlery anywhere between £5-£30.
... Then why are some more established jewellery brands offering stainless steel rings or pendants in excess of £100??
Ultimately, Stainless Steel is not a precious metal nor does it convey luxury.
